The Gippsland Trades and Labour Council is dedicated to helping our community. Our Community Project officer Kacie is out and about in the community finding the gaps in services and trying to assist in linking up people and services together to help create a stronger community.
We have been successful in linking up with many groups in the past few months, especially in the CALD, Disability and Justice (post-release) Sectors, and are working with groups to see where we can assist them.
Kacie is currently working on building a community directory of all current supports in the community and how to get in touch with them, to make access to this information more easily obtained, she is also working closely with groups to find ways to best facilitate courses for more vulnerable cohorts.
Kacie is passionate about equal employment outcomes for all people regardless of ability, history, gender or race.
